Dear Parents / Guardians,
It’s Impact Aid time! On 10/19 you will receive an email from the district asking you to log on to PowerSchool to complete this short questionnaire. Federal Impact Aid supports local school districts with concentrations of children who have parents/guardians in the uniformed services or parents/guardians employed on eligible Federal Properties. It was designed to assist local school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt Federal Property served by the District. It is time for our student families to take the annual Impact Aid survey. Every year, we received Federal Impact Aid funds because of your cooperation in returning these forms to us in a timely manner. What do we need from you? Great question!
Please follow the steps below to complete the process (similar to when you recently completed your Power School student registration)
Select: PowerSchool button
This will bring you to the powerschool parent portal sign in page. If you have forgotten your user name or password, please contact our office at 520-879-2302. We will be happy to reset a temporary password for you or inform you of your username. The direct link to PowerSchool is: https://ps.vail.k12.az.us/public
Select: Impact Aid form
Scroll down from the menu on the left once signed into PowerSchool.
Answer the 3 questions and you’re done! You will need to complete this for each student you have in the district.
