Your immediate help is appreciated!
It is Federal Impact Aid time again! Please ensure Vail receives the federal money it deserves because of your service!
Designed to assist local school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt Federal Property by the District, Federal Impact Aid supports local school districts with concentrations of children who have parents/guardians in the uniformed services or parents/guardians employed on eligible Federal Properties. Each year, the Vail School District receives these funds simply by having parents and guardians take the survey.
Even if guardians are not in the groups listed above, it is important to fill out the form and send it in with your student!

Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It presents an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year. During Red Ribbon Week, youth and adults around the nation pledge to increase their knowledge by learning more about the destructive effects of drug abuse, including prescription drug misuse, and renew their commitment to live a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
For more information, you can visit the official Red Ribbon Week page!

Dear Parents:
On Wednesday, September 20th, Corona Foothills and Sycamore will have a practice lockdown drill.
Safety procedures will be reviewed with students prior to the drill. During the drill, students will remain in their classroom under the supervision of their teacher.
Student safety will always remain our top priority. It is important for Corona Foothills and Sycamore to periodically practice safety drills so our staff and students are prepared in the event of an emergency.
If you have any questions, please contact us at steuerm@vailschooldistrict.org or graffk@vailschooldistrict.org.
Respectfully,
Margaret Steuer
