If you have a child who will be starting kindergarten in the 2025/2026 school year we would love for you to attend to learn about kindergarten at Desert Willow! Or if you have a family member, friends, even a neighbor; we would love to have them attend Kindergarten Round-Up at DWE!

This week all of our 3rd grade classes went to Agua Caliente Park to learn about the ecosystem and observe some microscopic organisms in the water! We love seeing science learning in action!

Another week has flown by here at DWE! It was such a blast to see all the creative, silly, and spooky costumes around campus yesterday! Then today we had a thrilling visit from the Tucson Twist-It's! The Twist-It's showed off their incredible skills and even taught our students a thing or two! Have a great weekend and we will see you Monday Diamondbacks!
Tomorrow is our Make a Difference Day for 8-11 am! We would love to have you whether you are able to sign up or not! This standing desk project will be incredibly beneficial to students across our campus.

We had an amazing Red Ribbon Week this week! It was so great so see so many of our staff and students dressed up this week. This week ended with our Kindergarten Community Helpers Parade, we love seeing our Diamondbacks' goals for the future! We also had our monthly Diamondbuck store. Thank you Mrs. Coolman for organizing these monthly stores for our kids, we love them (and the neon mustaches) so much!

We had a great first week back from break here at DWE! We started our week off with our Caught in the ACT Assemblies celebrating all of the wonderful accomplishments of our students during the first quarter. Later in the week we had our Caught in the ACT Breakfast, where we further celebrated some of our amazing students accomplishments during the first quarter. And then we ended this week with our Day of Awesomeness, we are so thankful for all the people who helped put on this amazing day.

Today was out Day of Awesomeness to celebrate all of our hard work during the Step It Up! Fundraiser. All of the kids had a blast running and jumping around this morning!
Thank you and your families for all of your support during the fundraiser, all proceeds will be used to support our students and staff!
