Today we had our 5th Grade Parade! It was so great to see all our 5th Graders one last time before they head off to middle school! We also honored our retirees during the parade, thank you so much for all you've done for DWE over the years!
We will most certainly miss all of them but once a Diamondback always a Diamondback!

A huge congratulations to the amazing Ms. Buchanan! During Teacher Appreciation Week earlier in May, Ms. Buchanan entered a contest to win money for classroom improvements and she won! Ms. Buchanan and her class were very surprised this morning!

Chick, Ducklings, Butterflies, Oh my! Spring has sprung at DWE!
Our Kindergarten classes have learned all about the life cycles of different animals and insects by watching chicks, and ducklings hatch from eggs and butterflies start as larva and go through their life cycle.
