Chick, Ducklings, Butterflies, Oh my! Spring has sprung at DWE!
Our Kindergarten classes have learned all about the life cycles of different animals and insects by watching chicks, and ducklings hatch from eggs and butterflies start as larva and go through their life cycle.
Not only does our incredible PTA organize the Amazing Community Fair but they also host fundraisers for the school as well! Take a look at the amazing tiles that have been decorated over the last two school years! You can spot them as you are leaving the parking lot on the right hand side. Look and see who contributed to this beautiful decoration for our school.
The Student Wellness Advocacy Team (S.W.A.T) from Empire High School came out to visit our 3rd-5th graders today. They talked all things nutrition and physical activity! Thank you so much for coming out, the students loved it!
The Community Fair is Friday! It’s going to be so much fun with inflatables, carnival games and prizes, food trucks, vendors, the talent show and amazing baskets in the silent auction. Join us for a super fun night with the Desert Willow community!

The Lost and Found is overflowing with jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles! Many of the jackets are hanging by the playground, lunchboxes and water bottles are in the Lost and Found bin by the MPR.
Parents please remind your kiddos to come look for their missing items, if you'd like to come look as well you would be more than welcome before or after school.
Any unclaimed items will be donated.

Yesterday (April 2nd) was World Autism Awareness Day! So many of our amazing Desert Willow Teachers showed their support today!
We had our monthly Diamondbuck Store today! The students had a blast doing karaoke and spending their well earned Diamondbucks.
Thank you Mrs. Kendryna and Mrs. Coleman for organizing the Store every month. A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers and Safety Patrol who make sure the Diamondbuck Store run smoothly!
Kindergarten Registration is today and tomorrow at Desert Willow! Come on by to register your kindergartener for the 2023-2024 school year!
To register your kindergartener please bring their original birth certificate, shot record, and proof of residency.
